During this workshop, we will be immersed into this amazing slot canyon for two separate days of shooting and instruction. We will learn of the Navajo ways from experienced guides and residents of the Reservation. On the evening of the second night we will travel to Tatahatso Point to catch sunset and to capture

the Milky Way. 

Your workshop does include:

  • Your permit to these special canyons

  • In-field instruction both in the canyons and for Milky Way

  • In-class instruction on processing your images

  • Transportation to and from Las Vegas McCarran Airport

  • Transportation to and from shoot locations

  • DUAL occupancy lodging*

  • A cultural lunch experience within the canyon

  • Local, experienced, and certified hiking guides

Your workshop cost does not include:

  • Camera equipment

  • Gratuity for shuttle drivers and Native Guides

  • Hiking equipment

  • Computer or processing software

* Workshop cost based on double occupancy. Contact me if SINGLE occupancy is

NOTES ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:

  • Please note that the physical demands of this workshop are moderate.

  • In one day, we will put in about 7-8 hours within the canyon and trek about 3-4 miles per day.

  • Please note that the weather around this time can range from 50-80 inside the canyon. 

  • A 50% deposit is required at time of reserving your spot. This is a non-refundable deposit.

  • A confirmation email will be sent to you at time of booking with gear checklist, discount code to rent camera equipment, liability forms, and other useful information.

  • We will have certified guides with us that will lead us through the canyons, but you are ultimately responsible for your own safety.
